BOISE, IDAHO – July 5, 2004 – With the crane standing overhead, workers from Guerdon Enterprises LLC work to erect the impressive 10:12 roof pitch on the new Cape Cod home. An innovation in the western United States, the Cape Cod features an unfinished upstairs, bringing the total size of the home upwards of 3,300 square feet.
Having a roof pitch of nearly double what the market currently offers, gives the homes added space and a look and feel of site built. The unfinished upstairs can be made into two more bedrooms, a game room, or whatever suits the family best. The lower level comes complete from the factory with three bedrooms, a study, two full bathrooms, and an expansive kitchen.
