Guerdon Enterprises Hosts Successful 2007 Construction Conference
BOISE, IDAHO – February 19-20, 2007 – The Guerdon Team extended a warm invitation to Guerdon Builders to join them in learning about all aspects of construction within the Guerdon product. All facets of modular construction and installation were presented during on-site and classroom presentations.
Kicking off the day with factory plant tours, builders really got a full understanding of where the product comes from and why it’s a durable, precise and consistent product. Following the extensive plant and model home tour, builders participated in on-site presentations consisting of three homes in different variations of completion at the new plant display location. The first home, a Ranch model (2R-3071-11), was close to completion showing the interior close up procedures. The second home, a Two Story (2TS-1552-01), was rough set showing the MEP connections. And the third home, another Two Story (4TS-3040-01), was craned into place illustrating the structural connections.
Class room presentations, located at the Hilton Garden Inn, covered an array of required on-site procedures. Knowledge was gained as builders learned about homebuilding with systems-built technology and the responsibilities a builder has within the process. The highlight and the guts of the presentation included the Modular Home Construction Manual. Other areas covered were Guerdon highlights of 2005 and 2006, the new and more informative website, sales support and all merchandising materials, the new model center and the new product line introduction.
Overall, the conference was a success as builders became well-informed and comfortable with the Guerdon product. They learned the benefits of utilizing modular technology with Guerdon which encompasses top curb-appeal, proven cost control, quality brand name products, reduced weather delays and a year-round workforce.
