Guerdon Enterprises Awarded for New Modular Home Design


BOISE WATER FRONT ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA – April 19, 2006 – Guerdon Enterprises was awarded the National Modular Housing Council’s (NMHC) National Industry Award for “Concept Modular Multifamily or Duplex” for its “Boise Water Front” model during the 2006 National Congress & Expo for Manufactured and Modular Housing in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Once a year the National Industry Awards are presented. According to Cheryl Hardee of NMHC, the entries submitted for awards in the “Concept Modular Multifamily or Duplex” were judged by an independent panel of architects and building professionals. Cheryl Hardee also states, “The National Modular Housing Council provides modular manufacturers, suppliers, and builders a national voice to facilitate policies and programs beneficial to both the industry and consumers of modular homes. This is accomplished through industry unity, advancement of sensible legislation and regulation, and industry and consumer education.”

Boise Water Front is an exciting new community currently under construction in the heart of The Treasure Valley. Its facility is climate controlled, well lit environment that utilizes steel jigs, laser alignment tools and quality-control processes at each state of the manufacturing process. Each module is engineered and built in our factory and will be later transported to the Boise Water Front location where it is essentially assembled into an on-site home with the aid of a crane.
